June 2024
Welcome to this month’s newsletter, where we look over the month of June
to see the fun we have been up to and the adventures we have been on.
Baby Cottage
This month the babies in the cottage have loved being outside as much as possible; Getting stuck in in water play and doing
some rescuing in the tunnel. We have also loved peek-a-boo and been full of smiles!
Baby Loft
The baby loft have been enjoying this beautiful weather. We’ve had so much fun in the garden! Inside, we’ve been cooling off with lots of splashing in the water tray and making our own playdough shapes.
Toddlers
Toddlers have been working on their imaginative skills this month building garages for their cars and putting their babies to sleep! They have also cooled down using the water to clean Sophie’s car! They have enjoyed using the dice to develop their number skills through play.
Preschool
Some of our school leavers have been focusing on getting ready for school by trying in some different items of uniform and showing how independent we can be. We have been playing some sports games, aiming our balls into different sized goals and throwing bean bags
into the correct coloured hoops too. Observational drawings of the front garden after our walk around. Making our own paint with chalk and water and practicing writing different letters in our names

Permissions - We have been finding that alot of parents have not completed their permissions for their children or that permissions may have changed over time, If you would like to check or change your childs permissions we would just ask that you drop us an email to ensure that they are all kept up to date.
Holiday - Can we please remind all parents to be making us aware of any holidays or dates that their children will not be attending their sessions. This is so we can ensure we are only catering for the correct amount of children and so we are not giving you a call on your lovely holidays.
