Having you back
We are so happy to have you back in the building for the end of the day pickup at last! Being able to have those face-to-face conversations with you again has been truly so nice for us as we feel we can finally show you all the amazing things that have been happening within the nursery behind closed doors. We hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have, and we look forward to further lifting restrictions. Just a few reminders for when you are entering the building
If you have a phone on you, please make sure you’re NOT using it whilst you’re inside the building.
Masks are mandatory while inside.
We ask only one parent comes inside the building for pickup so we can manage the amount of people in the rooms and building at one time.
Please make sure when you are leaving the building that a staff member lets you out so we can monitor who is coming in and out.
Events
October 18th-22nd: Fundraising week for Breast Cancer
We will be fundraising throughout the week of the 18th-22nd for breast cancer and are encouraging everyone to come dressed in something pink to support the cause. At the end of each day, we will be selling cakes inside the nursery to help raise money for the cause. If you would like to donate towards the cause or purchase one of our delicious cakes, please let one of our team members know or click the link below!

October 26th: Parents’ Evening
Don’t forget to email or call and book your parents’ evening slots to have that one-on-one time with your child’s key worker so they can discuss their development and answer any questions you may have. Remember these slots are only 15 minutes long so being prompt for your slot would be most beneficial to you.
October 28th: Nursery Halloween Party
We will be holding our annual Halloween party from 3:30-5:30pm on the 28th which parents are more than welcome to come in and join. We ask if it could be only one parent from each household so we can still stay within a reduced number in the building. We would also love to see as many costumes as possible and if you would like to bring in spare clothing for your children to change into throughout the day that is more than welcome.
November 3rd: Sparklers and Smores night
We will be holding a “night” of sparklers and smores with our forest school leader from 5-6pm on the 3rd of November. We will be supplying everything needed so if you would like to come and join in the fun in our garden, we would love to have you there and make sure to pack your mittens!!
A Change in Weather
As the mornings are getting chillier, we still love to have our outdoor time in the garden. In saying this we ask if you could please bring your child in the appropriate clothing to be outside for some fresh air throughout the day and pack any spare items of clothing they may need for the according weather that day. Please make sure all these items are sent in with labels on them as I’m sure you can imagine how many of you shop in the same places.
