A new season and plenty to keep us busy!

Dates for your diary- It is a busy couple of months here at the nursery so there are plenty of things to fill the calendar with.

  • 15th October we have Concept photography here in the morning and in the evening we shall be hosting our parents evening. Sign up sheets are all up on the doors so make sure you grab your slot to have a good old chinwag about your little one with their key worker.

  • 16th October we shall be holding an additional parents evening for our preschool families and Concept photography will be here again.

  • 6th November we will be hosting our ever popular spooks and sparkles party from 6-7pm where we will have plenty of fun activities, yummy food and of course sparklers!! so please ensure your little on has some gloves with them. We love to see all the different outfits so please feel free to come along dressed up in whatever you like.

  • Preschool parents please pencil in the 4th December for our nativity, I am just waiting for confirmation from the school on the use of their hall. Timing will be 2pm but we will give you plenty of details closer to the time.

  • Christmas party day for all the children will be on the 10th December where you are all invited to come in for some festive fun! Giraffe room will have theirs held from 2pm-3pm and then the rest of the nursery will be from 3pm till 4pm. Father Christmas will be making an appearance, there will be plenty of fun party games and food to enjoy. If your child does not attend this day and you would like to come in and join the fun please feel free to come along it is lovely to see you!

  • December the 13th will be a super Christmassy day for all the children that attend as we will be having a Christmas Jumper day in aid of Children in Need and it will also be enjoying a Christmas dinner! This will also be Rebecca’s last day before she starts her maternity leave.

New Face on the Block

We have recently welcomed the lovely Sarah to the team, she will be working alongside Elise and Gina as head of room. I am sure she will introduce herself to you over the next couple of weeks while she gets settled in.

Holiday Club

Is now fully booked, if your child is attending on either the Tuesday or/and Wednesday then they will need to be fully prepared for the outdoors as this is the day Tim will be here for forest school. The rest of the week Amelia who works in our after-school club will have lots of fun activities for the children, Amelia is a keen artist so will be putting that into good use.

Our MacMillian Coffee Morning

Thank you so much to those of you who purchased or made donations towards our MacMillian coffee morning a few weeks ago, it was a massive success and we made a brilliant £95!
