April 2022
This months news…
April has been full of events, we have celebrated Easter, Earth Day, St Georges Day and of course the Queen’s birthday.
Our Babies have been exploring their mark making skills using lots of different media both indoors and out, the chalks were a firm favourite. Our babies have also been lucky enough to experience some baby massage sessions, they loved it and certainly seemed to sleep well afterwards. Toddlers have been out and about in the local community recently, taking trips to Brownes Folly, Bath City Farm and Hilliers garden centre they had so much to share with us when the returned. The trip in the minibus was often the best bit. Meanwhile in Preschool they have been talking a lot about what they are going to do when they grow up and where their mummies and daddies work. We are very lucky that you all work in some interesting fields and have been exploring this with the children. We would love for you to help us and become involved to.
And we all had a fantastic Easter Monday tea party all together, the children loved being with each other and getting to see their siblings from other age groups.

· You have not previously or are currently studying psychology, child development or language development in further education.
· Are a minimum of 18 years old.

Reminders
If using the buggy shed, please could you ensure that these are folded whilst stored for the day as this allows more room for others to use this space.
As the weather is improving, please can we have sun creams for your children, if these have not already been supplied along with a named sunhat.
Preschool Leavers
We are fast approaching that time of year when our preschool children will be moving on to big school. We would really like it if you could share with us which schools your children have been accepted into, this is to help us support your children transition into school. It would also be great if you could let us know when your child’s last day might be. Although we really don’t want them to leave.
Focus group
I work as a Furniture Maker for an independent, Bath based, sustainable furniture brand, and we are looking for 10 keen participants who are parents or caregivers and interested in discussing the new Family Friendly Children's range we are developing. The guiding principles behind the designs are to encourage children to play joyfully, to use their imaginations to create and curate their environment, as well as opening up opportunities for communication, connection and self-sufficiency.
We're hoping that by hosting this discussion we can learn from the people who know best what will work for their families, and we also hope to share some of our design experience and expertise too.
