January 2020

Welcome to our new staff who have joined us in January!

A huge Snapdragons welcome to: Nadia, Jagaa, Charley and Kirby (who is back from maternity leave after having a gorgeous little boy) so if you see them around, make sure to give them a wave.

Whilst it seems that January had lasted forever, that did not stop everyone here filling the days with loads of fun activities.

Some of our children from the preschool room took a trip to Westonbirt along with children from the Corsham Nursery. They were busy testing their physical agility, climbing through the trees. When they weren’t climbing, they were helping to build a woodland den. Our Forest School leader Tim, was also talking to the children about all things woodland.

Toddlers were busy making lots and lots of mess, using wooden blocks, toothbrushes, stampers and hands to explore mark making in the paints. They were busy talking about the colours and shapes that were being painted.

Babies have been extra busy outside enjoying the winter sunshine. In between climbing slopes and crawling through tunnels, the babies were exploring different fabrics and testing out their hand-eye coordination by posting balls down tubes.
