#Snapsart
In June the themed month was expressive art & design. Across the nursery the children have been exploring colours and making lots of colourful brilliant things.
Snapstonbury 2019
On Friday 28th June we had our own festival day at Snapdragons Weston. It was a beautiful sunny, musical day with lots of fun activities. We even had a BBQ tea, take a look at the pictures below:
Race for Life - Pretty Muddy
On Sunday 22nd September we are running the 5k Race for Life, in memory of our friend Abbie, lost family members and anyone affected by cancer. We would love it if you could give us your support and got behind us for this challenge. If you would like to donate and Help us raise money for Cancer research, please find our link attached: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/snappies. Any donations of any amount are welcome and all go towards fighting this disease.
Garden talk
Spending time outside
Now that the days are warmer the children will be spending a lot more time outdoors. Please can you make sure you are providing weather appropriate clothing (e.g hats, sun cream etc).
Come summer or winter, rain or shine we always encourage the children to play and have fun in the garden. Playing outdoors is a huge part of our day and we always like to take advantage of the large garden space that we have to go exploring. Outside play is an important aspect of the positive developmental environment of the nursery and helps to promote physical activity, improve concentration & focus as well as enhancing imaginative & creative play.
Gates
As you may have noticed there are various gates both indoors and outdoors, please can we ask that when dropping off/picking up your children you make sure you are closing all gates behind you. This is to ensure that all of the children are safe whilst in our care.
Medication
When you have signed for your child/ren to have medication for the day please can you make sure you pick it up from the office at the end of the session, thank you.
