November 2019
Hello and welcome to November’s newsletter. We have had a very busy month here at Redland with lots of fun activities and new team members joining the Snapdragons Family. We also have lots of upcoming exciting dates to tell you about.
We started November with our Spooky Sparks evening. It may have been wet but it didn’t dampen the evening. The children had great fun making shapes with sparklers and toasting yummy marshmallows on the firepit.
Children In Need 2019
We all wore our pyjamas to nursery one day this month to raise money for Children in Need. A very BIG “thank you” for all your donations. We raised £76.95 here at Redland.
Dates For The Diary
We have some dates for the diary for the party season! We look forward to celebrating with you.
Pre School will be performing their nativity show at 10am then holding an after-show Christmas party at 10.30am on the 4th December.
Babies have their Christmas party on 13th December at 4pm - 5.30pm.
Toddlers are holding their Christmas party of 16th December 4pm - 5.30pm.
All of the parties will be in our hall and we’ve had to separate the age groups as we have so many lovely families now! There will be some activities, Christmas dancing and some light bites. Just to remind you that mobile phones are not allowed on site for the safeguarding of our children. We hope to see you all there!
Other dates for the diary-
Christmas jumper day 13th December- Look forward to seeing everyone’s lovely festive jumpers.
Christmas dinner day 18th December- The children and staff will enjoy a Christmas dinner together.
We will be sending off our donations to Caring at Christmas on the 21st December.

Notes & Information
In babies they are creating a “families” display board, so it would be great if you could bring in your family photos to help us. You can either email them in for printing or bring them in with you. We do ask that the photo is ideally immediate family and only one or two photos. Thank you from all of the baby team in advance!
The baby team would also like to remind parents to please bring in a named nappy cream, provide shoes/wellies for outdoor play, all in one waterproofs and hats.
We are also trying to do more of an eco-Christmas this year, so if you can keep your eyes peeled on family walks for pine cones, we will have a donation box for them at the office.
