October 2019

Welcome to our October Newsletter, we have lots of exciting things coming up this month that we cannot wait to share with you.

Events

Monday 14th October - Toddlers and Pre-school Parents’ evening was last night and all of the slots were fully booked, but if you did miss out, just let us know and we can arrange for you to meet with your key person at a convenient time.

Tuesday 22nd October- Concept Photography. We will be having the amazing photographer from Concept Photography in to take pictures of your child (if you wish!). It is completely free to have done and there is no obligation to purchase them, however they are such lovely keepsakes. Just let the office know if you would like to book in. If your child is not in on that day but you would still like to have pictures taken, please also book a slot with the office.

Friday 25th October - Spooky Spark. We will be having a Halloween and Bonfire night celebration from 5pm-7pm on the 25th October. There will be lots of fun games and activities to join in with and we would love to see you all there. Don’t forget to dress up though guys!

Halloween Swap Shop

We have set up a station for you to come and share any old Halloween costumes you may have at home. Around 7 million costumes are thrown into landfill each year in the uk. We are tackling waste by creating a Halloween swap shop, bring in your old costumes or take one home that you would like to use.

Reminders

We would like to remind all parents that mobile phones must not be used at the nursery. Please can we ask that they are kept away and not brought out on the nursery site due to our strict safeguarding policy.

Just a little reminder that, due to safety and size, the car park is for staff parking only. We would ask that it is not used for drop off or pick ups by parents/carers. The parking bays outside the nursery and on Redland Road are free for up to 30 minutes, although you may need to display a ticket.

Welcome

We would like to say a huge welcome to Eve and Bella who joined us this week. They will both be working in our Toddler age group and we are so happy to have them both on board. Please give them a wave if you see them around.

September

What a busy month September was! We’ve had so much fun in the nursery and we have some photos to share with you on the Redland section of the website, so don’t forget to head on over and have a look.
