All Snapdragons nurseries use Famly as the main app for sharing information with families. It is where you can access your child’s learning journey and invoices, receive day-to-day updates, and keep in touch with your nursery.
The Snapdragons Parent Portal works alongside Famly. Because we manage our nursery forms independently, you will use the Parent Portal when we ask you to complete or sign a document. It also provides a convenient way to download a copy of your child’s learning journey.
Getting started
Your nursery team will send a Famly invitation to the email address you provided. Follow the invitation to create your account, then use the Famly app on your phone or tablet or sign in through a web browser.
Keeping up with your child’s day
- Newsfeed posts, announcements, photos, and videos shared by your nursery
- Daily activity information such as meals, sleep, and care updates where your nursery records them
- Observations and learning updates shared in line with your nursery’s permissions
- Important notices, reminders, and documents that need your attention
Messages and quick actions
Famly provides a direct way to communicate with your child’s nursery. Depending on the features your setting uses, you may also be able to report sickness, holidays, or other absences without needing to telephone.
Your child’s profile
Your child’s Famly profile brings together important information about their time at nursery. This can include contact and care information, allergies, permissions, notes, and a daily activity log. Please tell your nursery promptly if important information changes.
Learning journeys and invoices
Famly is the primary place to view your child’s learning journey and the observations shared by their nursery team. You can also access invoices and other account information through Famly.

Famly should be your main destination for information about your child, their learning journey, invoices, and everyday nursery communication. Use the secure Snapdragons Parent Portal when we ask you to complete or sign one of our forms, or when you want to download a copy of your child’s learning journey.
