Pretty in Pink for Breast Cancer Now

The team at Snapdragons Atworth is flushed with success after raising £1059 for Breast Cancer Now with a pink-themed day. The fundraiser included a sponsored toddle, a scrumptious cake sale and an amazing raffle with prizes from local businesses and parents.

Since 2020 when pre-school colleague, Charlotte, was diagnosed with breast cancer, the Atworth team has pulled all the stops out for an annual fundraiser to support the charity who helped her through. Thankfully, Charlotte made a full recovery, but she’s determined to help others who face a cancer diagnosis, and so is the rest of the team!

The amazing total was reached with a lot of help from donations for a fabulous raffle. Charlotte says, “I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all who donated prizes for the raffle on Friday. With all your generous donations and money spent at the bake sale we made £1059, which is absolutely incredible!”
