Celebrating Our Chefs and Admin Teams in our Non-Childcare Enrichment Days
Our enrichment days are about investing in all our people, recognising the important role every team plays in creating the best possible experiences for our children and families.

This time, our non-childcare teams enjoyed a dedicated day of professional development, new experiences and wellbeing, with our administration teams and chefs each taking part in sessions tailored to their roles.

Our Admin Team: Building Knowledge and Taking Time to Recharge
Our administration teams took part in training focused on government funding, helping to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the funding processes that support our nurseries and families.
Alongside this, they enjoyed a wellbeing walk, providing an opportunity to step away from their usual routines, get outdoors and take some time to relax, recharge and connect with colleagues.

Our Chefs: From Local Suppliers to Sustainable Food
Our chefs enjoyed a day full of inspiration, starting with visits to our supplier, Lovejoys, and some of our local growers. These visits offered an opportunity to learn more about the people and produce behind the food we serve, strengthening our connection with the suppliers who help us provide fresh, quality ingredients for our nurseries.

The team then took part in Soil Association training, building their knowledge of sustainable food practices and supporting our ongoing commitment to making thoughtful choices about the food we provide for children.
The day also included a dedicated wellbeing session, giving our chefs the chance to pause, reflect and focus on their own wellbeing.
Investing in Our People
Our non-childcare teams are an essential part of the Snapdragons family. From managing the funding and administration that keep our nurseries running smoothly to preparing nutritious meals that children enjoy every day, their contributions make a real difference.
Providing opportunities to learn, share experiences and focus on wellbeing helps us support our colleagues both professionally and personally.
A big thank you to everyone who organised and took part in the day, and to Lovejoys and our local growers for welcoming our chefs. It was a valuable opportunity to build knowledge, strengthen connections and celebrate the people who help make Snapdragons special.
