Goodbye 2016
It's been yet another incredible year at Snapdragons. It feels like we say that at this time every year, but do you know what? It's really really true.
All these smiling faces, brightening up our day each time they walk through the door in the morning, they're the reason we do what we do. They're the reason we work so hard and tirelessly to make sure that their early years are the best they can be. That they have memories to cherish and to share for a lifetime. Because that's exactly what you all offer us in return.

The magic of Christmas parties
We celebrated all night long with our fantastic team last weekend, as we hosted our second employee Christmas party, A Very Snappy Christmas, at Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath.
With entertainment from Edward Crawford, mind reader and magician, along with Russell Keith performing famous songs and taking requests, it was wonderful to enjoy the end of another successful year with over 150 of our incredible team.
As part of our employee awards, we recognised those who had performed exceptionally well and been nominated by the peers, along with those who had achieved a 100% attendance record across the year. We also handed out a selection of great prizes as part of our raffle, with Drake tickets and Sonos sound systems included in the mix!
It was a wonderful evening and we can't wait to start planning for next year's event!
Winter shows are coming
We're closing in on the middle of October now, which means we're inching ever closer to our favourite festive period and it also means that we're starting to prepare for this year's Winter Shows!
Each year, our pre-schoolers at each nursery perform a wonderful musical show for their families, entertaining them with their acting, singing and overall charm. If you haven't seen one before, then you're in for a real treat.
We'll be sending out invites to all of our pre-school parents shortly, along with pre-order slips for you to request copies of the DVD after the show. But for now, mark down the relevant dates below and prepare yourselves for the event of the year. If there are two shows listed, you'll need to wait for your official invite to find out which show your child will be appearing in.

Autumn menus released
Our delicious new autumn menus are now available, so head over to our healthy eating page and take a peek at what we've got lined up for the lucky children at Snapdragons for the rest of the year!
Muddy puddles
Our fearless team of runners took to the fields on Sunday, taking part in Pretty Muddy: Race for Life. Running as part of our 'Snappies in Nappies' team, they were fundraising for Cancer Research UK, showing continued support for their friend Abbie Dougherty, who passed away from cancer in June.
The five kilometre course sent them along a variety of obstacles designed to get them as muddy as possible, but this was nothing to our nursery team, who see action like this each and every day with the children.
