Open Days at Snapdragons Shirehampton

Second update: And another one! On Monday September 5th, from 18:30 - 20:30!

Update: We're going to be holding a third open day on Wednesday August 31st, from 10:00-13:00. So if you didn't get a chance to come to one of our first events, then try and come along this time so we can show you around! We'll also be accepting applications for private viewings from September, when the nursery opens.

After months of hard work and graft at the new nursery in Shirehampton, we are closer than ever to completion and are now able to announce our first open days.

We will be holding two events at the beginning of August for prospective parents to come and view the nursery and learn about how we will be caring for your children. Both events will feature guided tours for everyone who comes along, but our Saturday session will contain some extra goodness.

Refreshments will be included at both open days and we have some great special offers available on the day including 10% discount on fees and free goody bags! Please feel free to bring any friends or relatives who you feel may be interested in learning more about the nursery.

Snapdragons Shirehampton will be opening on Thursday 1st September and we can't wait to welcome you and start our wonderful new adventure together.

Saturday August 6th, 11:00 - 15:00

• 11:30 - A special talk about the educational approach at Snapdragons and how we will be enhancing the children's learning at Shirehampton.
• 13:30 - A basic cookery lesson for children, giving you the opportunity to see our new children's kitchen in action.
• 14:30 - A stay and play activity session with one of our team, letting the children enjoy some of the activities that will be on offer at the nursery.

Plus guided tours by our team.

Race complete

We were delighted to be able to hold yet another event at Castle Combe race circuit this year, thanks to help of Ed & Tasha Moore, who organised the day for us.

Welcoming parents from across all of our nurseries, we took part in a lap of the 1.86 mile course, fundraising for CLIC Sargent. It was a beautiful afternoon for it and we want to thank everyone that attended, bikes in hand, to pedal, scoot or stroll around a lap and show their support for the worthwhile cause.

A race to Castle Combe

Snapdragons are delighted to announce their annual Castle Combe race day event for 2016 for all parents at the nurseries!

Come and join us on this special occasion to race around the circuit at Castle Combe, on Friday 29th July, between 17:00-19:00. We have been very kindly given this opportunity by two of our After-School club parents at Snapdragons Atworth, Tash and Ed Moore, who generously enable us the access to Castle Combe every year.

We will be aiming to arrive at 17:00, where we will be able to take a look at some race cars, before we head out onto the track to do a lap of the circuit! Everyone is welcome to join us for a lap, whether your child wants to run, ride their bike, scooter or pushchair! Once the 1.85 mile lap has been completed, you are welcome to bring a picnic and join us for tea.

 This year we will be raising money for the charity CLIC (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood). We kindly ask for your support by donating £1 per person to access the track. We will also be holding a raffle with some exciting prizes (to be confirmed!), which will be available to buy beforehand and on the day.

Everyone is welcome to join, so if you would like to invite grandparents and siblings - please do!
