Welcome to this months newsletter where we look back through the busy month of February; full of love, pancakes and even colourful dragons.
Babies
This month babies have really enjoyed trialling out some recipes and making a variation of healthy snacks that they have eaten at snack time or tea time.
They made some love potions for Valentine’s Day in the tuff tray in the garden, and took part in dancing in the puddles.
Toddlers
Toddlers have been creating their own bird food; they then let it freeze and hung it on the trees for the birds to enjoy.
To celebrate Chinese new year they also made a colourful dragon using different colours and paraded this around the room!
Rising Three’s
Rising Three’s have made their own dragon as they celebrated Chinese New Year!
They also made potions for someone they loved for Valentines and spoke about the people they love. So many other lovely activities too.
Preschool
Preschool have had a busy month celebrating lots of different celebrations and festivals which have involved lots of yummy food.
They prepared and made our pancakes in the mud kitchen for pancake day and made bread rolls for bread making week too

Over the month of March we have lots of celebrations and events happening across the nursery.
Friday 1st March - St David’s Day.
W/C 4th March - Valencia Fallas (Spain)
Thursday 7th March - World Book Day - Dress up as your favourite book character and bring in your favourite book to share.
Friday 15th March - St Patricks Day.
W/C 18th March - Science Week.
Thurday 21st March - World Downsyndrome Day - Wear and rock your most favourite odd socks.
Monday 25th March - Holi
Good Friday and Easter Weekend. - A reminder to all parents that we will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Friday 5th April - Easter. Parents to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt.
Staff Nominations
Is there a staff member that you would like to be acknowledged for all their hard work this year or someone who you would just like to thank? At Snapdragons we run a reward scheme for our employees, nominations from parents mean stars for the staff that can go towards a range of different rewards and prizes which can include sweet treats, hampers, meal vouchers and even a trip to the spa, so if you would like to reward the staff remember to fill in the online form sharing your lovely words.
