June 2021
Book of the month
All of our Jacks at nursery will be getting excited when they hear their name as we read and extend June’s book of the month … ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. We’ll climb to the top of the beanstalk and someone or something will be up there! Find out who when we all sit down for story time together this month.
Rhyme time
Our fun rhymes this month will have us all up moving and grooving as we sing
‘I’m a little teapot’ and ‘One, two, buckle my shoe’
Open day
Finally! We are so excited to be able to let you back into the nursery. We have scheduled an open day for you to see where your children have been playing. For our new parents who haven’t had a chance to see the nursery, we really encourage you to come in and have a look around as we can’t wait to show you our lovely play environments.
We have already had a great response to this and, as we are still maintaining social distancing, we are keeping each appointment to 15 minutes so that everyone has a chance to see the nursery. We will be cleaning key touch points between each slot so we would ask you to make this easier and quicker for us by not allowing your child to play with the resources during your visit. If it is at all possible for you not to bring your child, this could make your visit more enjoyable not having to keep them away from all the temptation! We appreciate your understanding with this, and we look forward to seeing everyone who has booked a time slot on Saturday June 12th between 9:30 and 2pm!
Leaving our team
It is with great sadness that we have said goodbye to one of our amazing practitioners who has made such a significant impact on so many families here at Snapdragons. It was not an easy decision for Gabby as she had such wonderful bonds with so many children throughout the entire nursery and was so sad to have to leave them behind. We are upset to say goodby but celebrate her determination to further her career in her new role as Head of Babies at Snapdragons Broadwood. We wish her luck and we know the Broadwood children and staff are going to love having her there.
