Our Books of the Month

“Aha Oho, tracks in the snow! Whose are these tracks and where do they go?” You’ll have to follow “The Gruffalo’s Child” to find out! Warm-up your dancing feet and get ready to read “The Elves and The Shoemaker”.

Norland Students

Norland College is looking for more Bath-based families, for their students to come and spend time with on their placements. Please take a look at the below criteria if you are interested.

One parent must be at home full time to supervise the student
Ideally, they should live in BA1 or BA2
They must have at least two children, one under two years of age and one under four years of age who is not yet at school.
The family must be willing to support a student on placement with varying levels of experience.
It will be a 4-week block, the dates of which are set by Norland.
The next set of placements available will start in January 2020

Thank You

A massive thank you to everyone who took part in Pyjama Day for Children In Need. You all looked super cosy and we managed to raise £100!

Santa’s Grotto

Santa will be visiting us on the 18th of December. If this is not your child’s usual day, please arrive between 11 am and 12 pm. Siblings are more than welcome, so come along and see our Winter Wonderland! Santa will be setting up his temporary Grotto in the office, so sadly we are unable to hold any buggies/bikes or scooters for the day.

Reminders

A reminder that the nursery will be closed for Christmas from the 25th December to the 1st of January. if your child is in Pre-School and attends term time only, then the end of term is Friday 13th of December not Friday 20th like normal BANES Terms. We are quite busy when we return in the new year, so swapping sessions are going to become more difficult. We will do our best to try and accommodate any requests, but please be aware that this may not always be possible. Please remember to complete any forms in the rooms e.g Medication or Pre-Existing Injuries, the only form that needs to be completed in the office, is to inform us if your little one has had Calpol/Ibuprofen before coming to us.
