On Friday 20th June, we will be organising a School Leavers Trip for children who will be starting school in September.
Our Pre-School Graduation will take place on Saturday 19th July. We will provide more information next month.
We would also like to extend a huge congratulations to Lily in the Toddlers group, who has successfully passed her apprenticeship with distinction, and to Chef Katie, who has recently achieved her catering qualification.
Additionally, a special mention to Chef Katie, who is expecting a little boy and will be leaving us to begin her maternity leave this summer. We wish her all the best during this exciting time.
We also say a sad goodbye to Emma who is leaving us to explore a new role, we wish her lots of luck and thank her for everything she has done for Snapdragons, she will be missed.

The children recently enjoyed an exciting visit from the police. They had the wonderful opportunity to try on police uniforms, explore police cars and vans, and learn about who to contact in case of emergencies. The children also examined various pieces of police equipment up close, which sparked their curiosity and interest in community safety. It was a truly engaging experience that they thoroughly enjoyed.
Our toddlers have been delighting in the lovely weather, making the most of outdoor adventures. The team has been following the children’s interests and have taken their engaging activities outside into the garden. The children have enjoyed a variety of mark-making and water play activities, fostering their creativity and curiosity. It has been a truly wonderful time for exploration and learning!
Toddlers 2 have been actively exploring important road and fire safety. They participated in a variety of engaging activities aimed at helping them understand the potential risks and the precautions to take when out and about. During a recent walk, the children enjoyed a transport scavenger hunt, where they enthusiastically identified different vehicles, lights, and signs, and discussed their purposes. It was wonderful to see their curiosity of safety in everyday situations.
Our Pre School children have been busy helping Chef Katie create a delicious pudding! They carefully weighed and mixed the ingredients, patiently waiting for the cakes to bake to perfection. Once ready, they excitedly shared the cakes with children in all the rooms, ensuring everyone could enjoy a sweet treat.
Meanwhile, our babies have been having a wonderful time in the kitchen, making their very own pitta pizzas. They carefully used their little knives to chop vegetables, spread tomato puree, and added cheese and toppings of their choice. After cooking their tasty creations, they enjoyed their homemade pizzas for tea with great pride.
Preschool One has been practicing their hand-eye coordination in the garden. They have been using a variety of bats and balls, along with colorful beanbags, trying to keep them up in the air as long as possible. In addition to this, they have also been enthusiastically exploring just how far the ball can travel once they have made contact with it using the bat. This playful activity not only helps them develop their physical skills, but it also encourages cooperation and teamwork among the children.
Preschool Two have been getting wonderfully creative this month. They began to delve into the fascinating world of colours, eagerly exploring what would happen when mixing two or more vibrant paints together. From this exciting activity, Preschool then proudly made their own individual rainbows, choosing the colours they wanted to use themselves, which allowed for a lovely expression of their unique personalities. After this, they enthusiastically ventured into some outdoor activities, discovering various natural resources such as leaves, trees, mud, and sand to make beautiful marks with on paper.
