Nursery Updates…

The nursery closes for a Christmas break on Wednesday 24th December at 6pm. We reopen on Friday 2nd January 2026.

We said a very sad goodbye to Aimee this month as she starts her new venture as a deputy manager, we wish her lots of luck in her new role.

At the end of this year we say a very sad good bye to Connie, she will be moving to another nursery to start a new venture.

Katy C our SEN co-ordinator will also be leaving us, she will be working in a school. We thank both Katy and Connie for their dedication and hard work and wish them both well in their new roles.

Now that we are nearly fully moved over to Famly, we just want to make you all aware that as parents you are able to add family members and set passwords etc. Please note that the message inbox is not monitored so please contact the main Cribbs email inbox if you wish to pass on any messages to the management team or the team members.

In Preschool we have been exploring the season of Autumn. We have have been learning about nocturnal animals and animals that hibernate and find warm homes. The children have created their own nocturnal animals using clay. Once dry we have used natural materials to create warm homes for our animals.

The children have been enthusiastically working on a vibrant sensory board made entirely from recycled materials. They carefully used pipettes to spread colorful paint across the collaborative artwork, enjoying the tactile and creative experience together.

Preschool have taken time to thoughtfully remember and reflect. We used a variety of tools and creative skills to carefully recreate our own poppies, showing our deep respect and gratitude as we think about all those who protect and keep us safe every day.

Toddlers 2 have celebrated literacy week through their love of books. We read the Elmer story together and then created our very own Elmer. We used different blocks to press a variety of coloured paint into the paper.

Babies have been joyfully exploring our wide variety of musical instruments. They had the opportunity to discover different ways to create music, experimenting with how loud and quiet they could make the sounds. This playful activity helps develop their sense of hearing and coordination in a fun and engaging way.
