Parents Evening
We are pleased to inform you that we will be running parents evening in the coming weeks. Due to social distancing guidelines and bubbles within the nursery we will be offering telephone calls with your child’s key person rather than face to face meetings. Each parents evening slot will be 10 minutes long to ensure every parent has the opportunity to talk to their child’s key person if they wish to. We will be running our parents evenings by age group on separate days as follows:
Babies- Tuesday 27th October from 6pm
Toddlers- Monday 26th October from 6pm
Preschool (All year round children)- Wednesday 28th October
Preschool (Term time only children)- Wednesday 4th November
Please talk to your child’s key person to book a parents evening slot.
Concept Photography
Concept photography will be attending the setting on Tuesday 13th October. Due to the nursery bubbles, only children that attend nursery on that day will be able to have their photo taken and unfortunately we will be unable to offer photos with siblings. If you would prefer your child to not have their photo taken please let their key person know.
Drop off and pick up
A reminder of the entrances for dropping children off: Preschool children should be dropped off at the side gate to the left of the nursery (if arriving before 9.00am, otherwise use the main entrance) and baby and toddler children should be dropped off at the main entrance.
Please can we also remind everyone to use the blue dots on the floor outside of nursery to maintain social distancing and form an ordered queue outside of the nursery, we aim to get your child to you as promptly as possible and but please bear with us if you are waiting a few minutes. Drop off and pick up times are becoming busier particularly around 9am and 3pm, please bear in mind these busier times and avoid them if at all possible. We will continue to review this over the next few weeks but we may have to put staggered drop off and pick up times in place if these times continue to be busy.
Children’s drinks
Please can we remind all parents to provide children with a named water bottle and ensure only water is being given for nursery.
