Hello! Summer is here!

We hope all of our term time only families and school leavers have a fun and relaxing break! If you are one of our all year round families please remember to let us know if you have booked a last minute break or are enjoying a day out together over the summer so we can update our systems. Thank you!

Graduation..

A huge huge thank you to all of our families who attended our pre-school graduation last month, it was a huge success and we are so proud of each and every child. Good luck to all of our school leavers in their new adventure, it has been an absolute pleasure to have you all with us. Here are a few snaps from the day!

What have we been up to?

We have been loving the weather and making the most of our gardens during the sunshine! The children have been hard at work in the forest garden experimenting with water and how to transport it. We even found some wild animals hiding in the nursery…

Reminders reminders reminders..

Just a few reminders as we head in to the new September term. Of course with the weather heating up please remember to provide your child with a named water bottle and a named sun cream as we do try our best to get outside twice a day.
Slippers! We do encourage children and staff to wear slippers indoors, and our baby room has a no shoe policy. For this reason we do ask that your child is also provided with a named pair of slippers that they can pop on in the rooms.
Illnesses.. if your child is unwell we do ask that you keep them home from nursery to monitor them. We are able to administer Calpol for temperatures for those children with pre-signed consent however we do then ask for you to pick them up from nursery. If your child has been sick we ask that they remain home for 48hrs after the last time they were sick.

Hi! My name is Royce.

I am the new Social Media & Marketing Assistant for Snapdragons. I will be spending time at all of the nurseries capturing magical moments and, permissions allowing, sharing them on our media platforms for parents and guardians to see. So don’t be alarmed if your children ask you if you saw the man with the camera in the nursery garden, it’s just me.

Staff news…

Some of you may have noticed that Lindsey has returned to us in the pre-school room! Lindsey has been off on her maternity leave with her little boy, Zachary, and we couldn’t be happier to have her back so give her a warm hello when you see her!
We have unfortunately said goodbye to Chelsea and Jamie. Chelsea has moved to the Isle of Wight to be closer to her family and Jamie has moved on to a new adventure. We wish them both the best of luck for the future.
Finally hello to Jadea! Donna has made her move to our toddler room and we have welcomed Jadea as the head of babies. Jadea is level 3 qualified and has worked in childcare for a number of years, we can’t wait for her to meet you all.
