#Snapsworld month

This month the nursery has been understanding the world. Babies are learning about routines and using their basket of everyday items, toddlers have been on a trip to explore Victoria park & pre-school have been building a garden den and drawing family portraits.

Assessment Grids

On your Parent Zone timeline this month you will see your child’s Assessment Grids. This is a reflection of what your child’s key person has recorded during their time at nursery in the last few months. Please be aware that the Foundation Stage areas of learning are very loosely based around age bands. Children move at their own pace and your key person will have a chat with you if there are any key areas that may need additional focus over the coming weeks. If you wish to discuss any of the assessment with the team please do not hesitate to ask. The grids are very much a reflection of what we have seen at nursery and we are very aware that children can be different at home to how they are when here. Attached is a helpful guide to the Foundation Stage but we are always here to help with any queries.

May Half term

The May half term starts on 27th May - 31st May and will be back again on Monday 3rd June.

School leavers

If your child is leaving for school this September please can you e-mail the office when your child’s last day at nursery will be, thank you.

Car Park

This is a reminder to all parents who are using the car par. Please be mindful of other road users, we have installed mirrors and ask that you use them to allow people to exit the car before coming in. The car park can be very busy at peak times and we have noticed a few cars going slightly too fast. Please don’t forget there are also lots of little ones walking in the car park.
