Hello Autumn 2021!
And just like that another season has come! The days are growing shorter, the leaves are falling from the trees and the weather has been very interesting this month with both rain and sunshine!
We’ve been up to a lot this month. From learning about our friends from the Animal Kingdom, using our Senses to explore the world around us, learning some new Skills and playing on our brand new Bikes and Scooters!

We’ve been collecting different coloured leaves from the Garden and getting very creative with our hands! We love to explore nature in different ways.
Lets Go Learning - the Animal Kingdom!
We’ve been learning about our friends from the wild including about what Dinosaurs love to eat, pretending to be a giraffe and eating ‘leaves’ using our long necks, saving Koala Bears from traps and building a polar bear an artic house!
It’s so important we learn about the world we live in and getting the children’s exploring hats on so they know more about the world outside the Nursery!
Every Day is the Chance to Learn
Here at Snapdragons Nursery we love to get our children learning new skills. We have so many wonderful resources that involve all our senses - Taste, Sound, Smell, Sight and Touch - which all of us use in our everyday lives to study the world we live in. By learning something new and different we are giving our children the chance to develop new interests that they may carry into their adult life.
It’s Time to Ride!
We have been super lucky to have some brand new bikes and scooters come into the Nursery. The children have been having a lot of fun riding around the Garden on them!
Spooky Scary Skeletons!
