Warleigh Lodge Farm.
What a busy month June was, it absolutely flew by for us at Snapdragons Keynsham.
We started the month celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee - It was so lovely to be able to host a successful garden party and we would like to thank all the parents that joined us to celebrate this special occasion! The children and staff absolutely loved it and we hope you all did too!

We have also celebrated Father’s Day and treated our Fathers and Grandfathers to a bacon roll and sent home some special gifts for all! We hope you all enjoyed them and thankyou for everything you continue to do for us.
Preschool have been focusing on School Readiness over the past couple of weeks making sure the children are ready for the upcoming transition.
The school leavers were also treated to a lovely trip to Warleigh Lodge Farm! This is the first time the trip has been able to happen in over the past 2 years, so it was super special to experience this with the children again, and we hope it’s that start of many more trips to come!

Upcoming Events and Reminders
Funding
Please can we remind parents with children who are going to school who attend term time only that their last day with us will be Friday 15th July. Children attending all year round, their last day will be Wednesday 31st August. Funding is not applicable during the month of August for all children going to school, so if you wish to give notice, please can we ask for 4 weeks to end your child’s space with us. Please email the accounts team if you have any further questions regarding funding, as they are more than happy to help with any queries.
Term Time Only Non Funded-
A reminder for the Term Time Only children that the last day before summer will be Friday 22nd July 2022
If you have any queries on your child’s last day before the summer then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help you!
Upcoming events
Preschool Graduation - For the children who will be going to school in September we will be celebrating the Preschool Graduation on Saturday 30th July from 1pm - 3pm, the afternoon will consist of a BBQ, the Graduation Ceremony and a chance for children to play together before they head off to school. Please can we ask all Preschool Parents to let us know who will be attending as soon as possible.
Staff News
We have unfortunately said Goodbye to the lovely Gemma this month, who has now started her new job based at the Bath and Wiltshire sites! She is going to be greatly missed by all!
Kira has been promoted from Baby Unit Co-Ordinator to Head of Early Years Practice and Deputy Manager.
Sophie Reed - Head of Baby Barn - Has also been successful in the promotion to Baby Unit Co-ordinator and will be taking over from
Kira, and will now help to over see the two baby rooms. We will keep you updated on who will be taking over from Sophie as Head of the Baby Barn as soon as we have any more news.
