December 2022

I want to start this months newsletter wishing all of our families a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We will reflect over the past two months as we bring 2022 to an end, making you aware of all the wonderful things we have had happening, from Christmas Parties, Preschool Nativity, Christmas lunch and the rest of the lovely festivities which have been happening daily.

I also just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support throughout this year.

Baby Cottage

in the Baby Cottage we have loved getting in the spirit of Christmas, helping to decorate the room, put the tree up, the Christmas party! We enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch and enjoyed creating some Festive pictures for family, along with some decorations and cards too! December has been a festive and fun month!

Baby Barn

The Baby Barn have loved getting ready for Christmas, decorating the room and doing lots of fun activities. They have loved exploring the snow and ice. The babies have taken part in some Christmas sensory trays, making reindeer food and a polar express tuff tray. We have done lots of arts and crafts, including sticking to make a snowman and painting Christmas wreaths.

Toddlers

Toddlers have had a very festive month! We have explored outside in the snow, making sure to be wrapped up warm, taking part in activities during our Christmas party and then finishing with a yummy Christmas lunch!

Rising 3’s

Rising 3’s had lots of fun at our Christmas party and even Santa came and visit us. We’ve all been very interested in play dough this month so we made Father Christmas play dough adding in some googly eyes and cotton wool for beard. We also used our imaginations and turned a really big box into Santa’s sleigh.

Preschool

Pre school have been getting the Christmas spirit doing many crafts this month, we have been creating our own Christmas tree pictures and creating pictures of Santa too and snowmen

We have been playing lots of games together in groups to work on our sharing too, we have loved dominos and the shopping trolly game too.
Of course we enjoyed the snow this month too.
