Nominate a Star:
Is there a staff member that you would like to be acknowledged for all their hard work this year or someone who you would just like to thank? At Snapdragons we run a reward scheme for our employees, nominations from parents mean stars for the staff that can go towards a range of different rewards and prizes which can include sweet treats, hampers, meal vouchers and even a trip to the spa, so if you would like to reward the staff remember to fill in the online form sharing your lovely words. Hedgehogs
Babies had a sensory month - learning about different textures and materials. They loved making their own messy play and mixing different ingredients together to create new textures. Some of the babies have showed an interest in the musical instruments and books too - telling their own stories and making their own music!
Squirrels
Squirrels have been busy using their creativity this month, They have been making everything from flowers to robots and using different media and mark making tools to help them. Squirrels were learning how to clean and look after their babies this month - as a well deserved treat they then enjoyed a nice foot spa for all their hard work.
Otters
Messy play anyone?! Otters have been exploring different media and tools this month. Learning how to make different colours, shapes and patterns. We also had to use our imaginations to keep cool - cooling spa session anyone?
Badgers
Badgers have been practicing their fine motor skills this month - cutting up lots of different fruits to make their own frozen ice lollies - yum! They also learnt how to make their own playdough and measure out the different ingredients. One superstar showed off their scissor skills by cutting out different patterns.
Deers
Deer children have been preparing for the next step in their journey - school! We have had lots of conversations about what we want to be when we grow up - just look at some of the things our preschoolers are aspiring to be! They also practiced their story writing by learning about how stories have a beginning, middler and end.
