Welcome Back!

It is so lovely to see so many of your lovely faces again, and also lots of new faces! Our day to day is looking a little different, but that is not going to stop us from having lots of fun!

Bubbles

We are currently operating under the bubble system as per government guidelines. As best as possible children will remain with the same group and practitioner throughout their session. This is to try and limit the number of people we are in contact with and thus making track and trace easier should it be required. To ensure that the bubbles are as consistent as possible we will not be allowing swapped or additional sessions at this time.

Illness and exclusion

We must all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and so our grounds for exclusion are stricter than usual. Should your child present any of the below symptoms they will be removed from their bubbles and isolated with a member of staff in the office, you will be contacted to collect them as soon as possible.

Persistent cough
Temperature above 38 degrees

All members of the household must isolate until the child in question has received a negative test, proof of test results must be provided.

We understand that there are lots of colds and snotty noses at the moment, as well as hay fever and teething. We always try our best to take such things into consideration but in these current times, we must air on the side of caution, so if you are aware that your child is showing any signs of the above symptoms please do not bring them to the nursery.

Drop off and collection

We are currently not permitting any parents into the nursery, as a result of this, your little one will be collected and dropped off at the front door by their bubble practitioner. To reduce congestion we are asking Pre-School to drop off around the back (Grosvenor Bridge Road) at the garden gate between 8 am and 9.15 am. Pre-schoolers with younger siblings may drop off at the front door. Please line up along the gate and remember to adhere to social distancing rules whilst waiting. Handovers will be shorter than usual to ensure parents are not waiting too long.

We have had a very positive reaction to this system so far and we thank you all for your cooperation!

Pre-School Leavers

Please be aware that if your little one is due to start school this year their booking pattern will finish at the end of August. If you need them to attend for any extra days in September then please email us the sessions that you would like, we are quite busy and so spaces will be on a first come first serve basis.

Term Time and unfunded hours

If your little one is in Pre-School attending Term Time Only then term will end on the 24th July and recommence on the 7th of September. All other ages Term will end on the 21st July and return on the 1st of September.

Please remember that there are no funded hours for the month of August and so all sessions are subject to full price, I have left a link to our funding calendar below. This will not apply to you if your little one is new to funding as of the summer term.
