May 2019
This Month at Grosvenor
Our area of learning this month is reading and Literacy! Expect to see lots of lovely stories, rhymes and songs!
“WHOSE THAT TRIP TRAPPING OVER OUR BRIDGE!?” Watch out for that troll as our book of the month is The Billy Goats Gruff!
Bath City Farm Fundraising
As some of you may already know, a few weeks ago Bath City Farm was vandalised! This was heartbreaking news for us here at Snapdragons, as we have had lots of great trips here over the years!
From week commencing 20th May we will be holding a bake sale to raise money for the farm. We will also be dressing up as our favourite farm animals on Wednesday 22nd which we would love you to join in with if this is one of your child’s days. Any donations are appreciated no matter how big or small! We feel it is so important to support all the amazing work the farm does for the community!
We look forward to seeing all your lovely costumes!
Thank you
A massive thank you to everyone that came to our Easter Egg hunt, everyone had such an amazing time running around the meadows collecting eggs. A very special thank you to our resident Easter Bunny!
A big thank you to Concept Photography, we look forward to seeing how all of your lovely photos turn out!
Bank Holidays
We will be closed bank holiday Monday 27th May, a reminder that you will not be billed for this session. Hope you all enjoy the long weekend!
Sun cream and Sun hats
We will not be providing suncream this year, so as the weather becomes warmer (hopefully) we are asking that you remember to bring a labelled bottle to protect your little ones! In addition to this please remember to pack a suitable sun hat!
Good - Bye
Sadly this month we have said good-bye to Lauren Petit in the baby room. We would like to thank you for your amazing work, and wish you the best of luck on your next adventure!
Congratulations
A huge congratulations to Abby Carroll who has just been promoted to Deputy Head of Toddlers! We have full faith that you are going to do an amazing job!
