This Month at Grosvenor
We’ll be getting messy this March as our area of learning is Expressive Arts and Design! We’ll be looking out for our little Picasso’s!
Don’t worry the sky isn’t falling! Our book this month is Chicken Licken!
World Book Day
This year we will be celebrating the 22nd consecutive World Book Day, and on Thursday 7th March 2019, children of all ages will come together to appreciate reading. Very loudly and very happily. We love reading here at Snapdragons Grosvenor and to celebrate we will all be dressing up as our favourite book character, whether that is the Gruffalo, Winnie the Pooh or maybe even the Tiger Who Came to Tea. We would love to see the children’s best book themed outfits.
This month sees the return of our annual paint throwing event, Holi Festival! This will take place on Wednesday 20th March, in Kensington Meadows - starting at 14:30, please arrive by 14:00. A reminder to wear white clothes for the event to ensure the colours pop! However please do not wear your best whites as the aim is for them to not to remain white!!
Red Nose Day
We will be celebrating Red Nose day on Friday 15th with a Pyjama day! The staff and children will be encouraged to wear their comfiest PJ’S and bring a small donation. During the week lead up we will be doing lots of fundraising activities, including selling red noses for £1.25, come and grab one for the whole family!
A Mother’s Day treat
On Friday 29th March we will be offering all you lovely Mummies a warm bacon sandwich to thank you for all your hard work!
The Nursery is open from 08:00 to 18:00. What have we been up to?
Babies made it rain inside! They loved pouring, tipping and filling in the bubbly water.
They also had a lovely sing- song with Tim in the garden!
Toddlers got really mucky in the sticky gloop!
He’s behind you! Preschool loved the puppet show put on by the staff!
They also helped Tim build a new den in the Pre-school garden!
