Wear it Red for the British Heart Foundation
We hope you've had a great week! Today we had a fantastic time celebrating "Wear It Red Day" in support of the British Heart Foundation. It was a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the incredible work they do and discuss the importance of maintaining a healthy heart.
Our little ones had a blast making red play-dough and using their hands to shape it. The Toddlers had an exciting trip to the meadow, where they learned how their heart rate increased after running around the fields. As for our pre-schoolers, they had a great time making heart-shaped bread to enjoy with their chicken and vegetable soup for tea. They also created beautiful red pictures during their art session.
This cause holds a special place in our hearts here at Atworth, as we have a brave little warrior in our pre-school room who underwent life-saving heart surgery as a baby. She takes immense pride in her scar and what it represents, all thanks to the amazing work of the British Heart Foundation.
In light of this special day, the British Heart Foundation has released a free 15-minute training session on basic CPR. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in emergency situations.
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our nursery community. We look forward to sharing more exciting updates with you soon.
