Autumn Days…
Our little Snappies have been getting Spooky creative making lanturns and ensuring there isn’t too much waste, pumpkin inspired snacks for the nursery too!
We have been out hunting for natural resources to make our decorations. Here we have collected leaves to turn upsidedown to look like ghosts!
A BIG BIG thank you for supporting our Sponsored Toddle and Raffle to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.
This month we have been taking moments to really relax in celebration of Wellbeing week; our Snappies have been to the Spa, have been practicing yoga and have been having lots of fun turning the nursery green!
Notes to Parents:
Now those colder months are closing in, please make sure your little one is well prepared to go outside in all weathers. Anything that is sent into nursery must be named please!
We do have a vacancy for an admin role working alongside our really lovely team. The hours would work perfectly around school or childcare so please do have a look at our website if you know someone who might be interested.
Funding - If you may be due to receive funding for the coming Janurary for the first time, you would have seen an email from our accounts team. Please do go through it and contact accounts if you have any questions. Also please contact them if you have not received this email.

Friday 8th November 5pm-7pm - Spooky S’mores

Wednesday 11th December - PreSchool Nativity at St Michael & All Angels Church.
25th Dec - 1st January We are closed for the Christmas break. This period is not charged. Our first day back is Thursday the 2nd. If you know that you are not planning to come in days surrounding the break, please do let the office know.
School Notices:
If your child is turning four this school year then you will need to start thinking about applying for a school place and heading off to a few open days or booking in for a school tour is a great way to get a feel for our local schools. Applications close in January, so you have some time to start looking but if you have any questions at all please feel free to come and speak to one of us in the office.
Neston Primary are not hosting an open day but will be offering show rounds by appointment.

Medication and Illness policies:
If your child has been prescribed medication then they will need to have had been taking it for 24hrs before returning to nursery.
Please do not leave any medication in your child’s bag, it must be handed to the office and a medication authorisation form must be filled out.
When Calpol or any temperature reducing medicine is given to your child prior to nursery, they are not able to attend nursery until they are 4 hours clear of the medication.
A little reminder about some of the more common illnesses and the exclusion periods:
Conjunctivitis - They have to have been treated for 24hours and the child has to be comfortable.
D&V - 48 hours clear of the last incident.
Chicken Pox - Children can’t return to nursery until the spots have all scabbed over and are completely dry.
Hand, Foot and Mouth - Children can return once all symptoms have subsided.
