March 2019
What’s new at Atworth?
As you all know Lizzie has been successfully promoted as our Nursery Deputy Manager alongside her role as Nursery SENDco and Head of the Toddler room. She is already doing fantastically within her new role and we would like to thank everyone for their support with this transition!
As always if you have any questions about changes in the nursery please feel free to pop into the office for a chat at any time.
Learning focus
Our learning focus this month is Expressive Arts and Design and the focus story is ‘Chicken Licken’ so get ready to see some fabulously artistic activities happening here at nursery!
You can pick up our learning together leaflet ‘Children as Artists’ from here at nursery to read at home!
World Book Day
Thursday 7th March is World Book Day and we are all getting involved here at Atworth by dressing up as our favourite book characters! We would love for the children to get involved as well and dress up with us! Either as their favourite book character, or just their favourite character!!

Red nose day is right around the corner on Friday 15th March, we have some fantastic activities planned for this week so keep you eyes peeled for information! As usual we will be selling red noses from the office for a small donation of £1.25 which all goes towards a fantastic cause!
