Snapdragons Nursery

June 2019

It has been music and mayhem for our younger toddlers. They have had enormous amounts of fun making their own shaker bottles as well as using household objects as instruments.

Preschool children put their building hats on this month. They got their hands dirty and put all their motor skills to the test to see what they could construct.

Congratulations…

We are very proud to announce that Polly, Aliyah and Molly have all now qualified to level 3.

Laura Daniels has completed her Early Years Foundation degree and Faith has graduated with BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies.

We would also like to wish a warm welcome back to Jess, who has recently returned back from maternity leave.

Books of the month…

July’s books of the month are Dear Zoo, The Gruffalo and Where the wild things are.

A polite reminder, please do not let your child bring toys in to the nursery. It is becoming increasingly difficult to keep them safe and unfortunately the staff will no longer be taking responsibility for lost items. We often find that staff are staying behind after closing hours to search for lost items, they all work incredibly hard throughout the day and we would like them to get home on time. We would appreciate your support and understanding with this.
