Whats on this month at Grosvenor?

This month is all about the outdoors, so you can expect to see your little ones outside, enjoying the weather, playing and learning. The book of the month is We're Going on a Bear Hunt.

Pre-School Graduation

Last month we held our Graduation Ceremony at Warleigh Lodge Farm. Thank you to all the families and staff that made the day so fantastic! We are very sad to see you all leave but are even more proud of the big kids you have become! School: ready or not, here we come!!!

Fire Brigade Visit

We were lucky enough to have the Avon Fire Brigade come to the Nursery last month to tech us all about their equipment, and the best bit of all, let us use the fire hose! Thank you to all the parents who came and joined in on the day.

How many Pre-Schoolers can we fit into one fire truck??

Staffing

A very warm welcome back to Amy Porter, our Head of Pre-School and Amy Burford, also from our Pre-School team, who have both been on Maternity Leave, and a equally warm welcome to Celina, who is our new Head of Early Years Practice.

Reminders

Sun Cream

What a hot summer we have had so far! We love to take the children out for some water play to cool down, and it is important that they always have sun cream on to avoid damage from the sun's harmful UV rays. Please make sure that you have provided the Nursery with a bottle of sun cream for you child/ren.

Nursery Hours

The Nursery is open from 08:00 to 18:00. Unless you have a pre-arranged early drop off, we kindly ask that you do not ring the door bell before 08:00, as we will not be able to let you into the building until 08:00.

Mobile Phones

Please remember that it is against Nursery Policy to use your mobile phone in the nursery. If you need to answer a phone call, please ask one of our staff to let you out before you answer.
