A new year, a new Pre-School
As we head into a fresh school year at Snapdragons Weston we would like to take this time to modify our current provision.
What are we changing?
This past year has been our busiest year yet in Pre-School and we are saying farewell to almost seventy children who are leaving for school in September - an unprecedented number never seen before in our history.
As such, many of the changes that we had hoped to implement last year have had to be put on hold with the view to implementing them in September 2010.
These plans involve a complete relaunch of Pre-School as we rename the rooms and change some of our staffing teams to offer new opportunities throughout the wonderful environments that we already have.
We feel that these changes will all be positive influences in helping our next group of children head off to school in 2011.
How will this affect your child?
From September 2010, the staff working in each room will be as follows:
Puffins (previously Tigers)
Kat & Caroline
Peacocks (previously Zebras)
Kate & Kirsty
Flamingos (previously Crocodiles)
Kim, Emily & Martha
Between now and September 2010, the staff who are moving will begin to go on visits to their new rooms to meet the children and discuss the changes and to make them as smooth as possible for all the children involved.
