I used to be an air hostess - bet you can tell!
I trained as an infant teacher before opening our first nursery in Atworth in 1998.
Combining this with trying to raise four children didn't leave much time for keeping fit - my main hobby.

I have worked for Snapdragons forever and have progressed from Nursery Nurse to Area Manager.
I work part time so that I can juggle my family life with my husband and my lively three year old daughter!

During the following years I spent time in India setting up an educational project and building a school.
I now have two gorgeous boys - Noah & Eli and love spending time in the woods building dens with them.

I grew up in Oxfordshire and came to Bath to do my nurse training.

I am married and live locally. I enjoy seeing friends and family and also swimming, the cinema and holidays!

I have a two year old daughter called Elena! We usually spend most of the time playing in the park.

I am originally from Hampshire and moved to Bath in 2003 to go to university. I loved Bath so much that I stayed!

I love books and am always reading something.

Outside of nursery I work as an actor for The Mission Theatre and also direct the Youth group there.

I lived in Warwickshire until the age of 13 when I moved down to Bath and have been living here ever since.

I trained for my Diploma in Nursery Nursing at Trowbridge College and qualified in 2000. I started working at Snapdragons a few weeks later.

I have been training in the martial arts of Taekwondo for two and half years which I enjoy.

I have lived in bath all my life and went to Hayesfield School where I continued my education at their Sixth Form.

I have been working with children for over ten years and completed my NVQ3 in childcare at Snapdragons!

I love reading, meeting new people and socialising and got married August 2009 to James, who moved to Bath from Marlow.

I have a small, close family and often have my niece and nephew for sleep-overs!

When I was little I loved Alice in Wonderland (but the animated one, not the silly 3D one recently). I love Yankee Doodle Dandy as it was the first song sung to me but now I love Iris by the Goo-Goo-Dolls.
I love drawing smiley faces :-) and have serious OCD at work and love things to be clean.
I have a scar behind my left eye due to a lava lamp falling on my head. Oh, and I'm half Welsh and proud of it! I probably could have been a comedian. Or maybe a ballet dancer. But I love children too much.

About Me

I have worked in childcare for 10 years now and have had the experience of working as a Nursery Nurse, Head of Room, Deputy Manager and I am excited to take on the challenge of Nursery Manager at Snapdragons.

I live in Bath currently and have done for nearly six years. I was born in Leicester then lived in Scotland for the first nine years of my life. I have moved around the country several times.

I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education and a Foundation Degree in Early Years. I am currently working towards a full degree in Early Years and hope to go onto become an Early Years Professional.

I enjoy spending time with my partner and step-children and going to visit my family who live up in Blackpool.
